Finance Business Partner | Ashton-under-Lyne, Tameside | £50,000 - £55,000 | Manufacturing
Axon Moore have partnered with a global manufacturing business based in Ashton who are looking to hire a Finance Business Partner on a full-time permanent basis. This could be a great move for an existing Management Accountant who wants to move into more of a "value-add" focused role.
Reporting into the Financial Controller whilst partnering with several heads of departments, your responsibilities include: Oversee the preparation of weekly flash P&L's and the monthly management accounts. Preparation of monthly journals. Business partner and build relationships with budget holders and site teams to investigate adverse variances and develop countermeasures. Monthly balance sheet reconciliations. Deliver accurate overhead and indirect labour performance reporting and analysis with variances to budget/forecast/prior year. Support budgeting & forecasting activities. Responsible for CapEx process on site. Supporting the submission of new projects, tracking spend and capitalising completed projects. Support cycle and annual inventory counts with a particular focus on ensuring the accuracy of engineering spares. Ideal candidate: CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified; however, part qualified and QBE will be considered. Manufacturing or FMCG experience is highly desirable.
