An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Business Partner (8A) at Kent & Medway NHS & Social Care Partnership Trust (KMPT) to join an award-winning finance team within a Mental Health environment and a growing Trust. KMPT are looking for a qualified accountant with an ambitious and proactive attitude. As the main finance contact for your Directorate, you will be responsible for the delivery of the financial information required to help both your division and the Trust achieve its financial objectives. By being the principal financial advisor to the Directorate you support, you will be responsible for contributing significantly to their business planning and financial performance, producing the monthly position with integrity and accuracy, leading and planning their annual financial plan, whilst also providing timely, accurate financial reports. As much as your role is to meet the needs of your Directorate, you need to be comfortable with constructively and positively challenging all aspects of their financial performance and advising as to how they can perform most effectively, working as a partner to your stakeholders and integral to their success. The post holder will be a senior member of the finance team reporting to a Senior Finance Business Partner, responsible for delivering first class, effective financial advice and supporting the wider organisation. This will include monthly reporting to Trust Board, Board sub-committees and Directorates, completion of business cases and supporting managers and clinicians to identify and report savings plans.
