Your new company A forward-thinking organisation is looking to appoint a Finance Business Partner. The Finance Business Partner will be responsible for becoming the subject expert and providing guidance and support to the operational budget holders and other key stakeholders.

Your new role The purpose of the role is to ensure accurate financial reporting and regulatory compliance and to support the planning cycle. Duties will include: Support the production of monthly management accounts, forecast and KPI analysis, including calculating and posting journals, accruals, and prepayments and variance analysis. Produce monthly Budget Statements for specified key areas and support budget holders in understanding variances, mitigating overspends and identifying savings opportunities. Gathering and bringing back information to support the financial records. Support the production of the annual budget model, coordinating information provided by the organisational leads. Producing working papers in support of the preparation of year-end accounts. Responsible for ensuring all queries and complaints relating to specified key areas of financial reporting are dealt with in a timely manner. Completing balance sheet reconciliations. Preparing costing for new financial projects to support the decision-making process. Maintaining appropriate records to ensure evidence provides adequate assurance to support the audit process. What you'll need to succeed The successful candidate will ideally fulfil the below criteria: ACCA/ ACA/ CIMA qualified/ part qualified. Previous experience in a Management Accounting role. Excellent communication skills. Advanced IT and Excel skills and confident with large volumes of data. Comfortable and experienced with working with different stakeholders. Ability to work to tight deadlines. Strong attention to detail. A positive attitude and forward-thinking.
