Monday - Friday Why is the role important? The Finance Business Partner is a key role which ensures that the financial information for the organisation is accurate, managed effectively and enables us to make informed and accurate business decisions. Key Outcomes To ensure that the financial information for the organisation is accurate, managed effectively and enables us to make informed and accurate business decisions. Delivery of a highly effective finance business partnering approach to a range of budget holders. Monitor and forecast expenditure across a range of budget areas to ensure accurate forecasts are delivered in line with agreed deadlines. What’s involved? Assist with the budget setting and monitoring process for a range of business areas. Supervise finance staff within the finance team. Maintain accurate records for financial expenditure, using the finance system to meet the requirements of audit. Ensure accounting reconciliations and month end management accounts are complete and up to date to ensure the integrity of the balance sheet and income and expenditure account. Assist with preparation of financial statements and year end accounting processes, including the subsidiaries of Bolton at Home. Liaise with internal and external audit for appropriate areas of responsibility. Ensure Equality, diversity & Inclusion is at the forefront of all decisions, inclusive language is used consistently and we celebrate differences.
