The Role
As a key leader, you'll manage a team of three regional accountants, overseeing the financial performance of 42 depots. Collaborating with senior leaders, you'll drive key financial targets, own the P&L, and shape growth opportunities. This isn't just about numbers - it's about adding value, driving efficiency, and creating meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities include:
Build strong relationships with stakeholders to deliver value-adding initiatives. Lead commercial reviews and present financial performance insights to senior teams. Drive budgeting, forecasting, and continuous improvement initiatives. Streamline processes and enhance the effectiveness of Commercial Finance activities. Contribute to ad-hoc projects and ensure departmental objectives are met.
What We're Looking For:
Qualified or near-qualified accountant with 2+ years' experience. Strong commercial acumen, influencing skills, and a proven track record of delivering results. Experience in business partnering, with a focus on driving efficiencies and adding value. FMCG or retail sector experience is ideal. SAP experience is a plus.
