An opportunity to join a private equity backed business in Chester, a well-known brand with excellent brand recognition. This opportunity is a newly created role, to work closely with the CFO and other heads of departments to increase the level of commercial information being distributed across the business. A heavy emphasis on challenging existing assumptions and aiding in high level strategic decisions. Main duties will consist of; Collaborate with business leaders to understand their financial needs and provide strategic financial guidance Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and performance metrics to support business initiatives Analyse financial data and trends to identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth Prepare and present financial reports and analysis to senior management to drive informed decision-making Partner with operational teams to provide financial support and facilitate budgeting and forecasting processes Evaluate and monitor the financial impact of business initiatives and make recommendations for improvement Contribute to the development of business strategies by providing financial insights and recommendations Engage with business leaders to understand their financial needs and develop tailored financial solutions Analyse financial data to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for improvement Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes Present financial reports and recommendations to senior management and provide insights for decision-making Proactively identify potential financial risks and opportunities and provide strategic solutions Build strong relationships with stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor on financial matters Candidate profile; Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field; CIMA qualification is highly desirable Proven experience in a finance business partnering or similar role Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial analysis Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools such as Excel and ERP systems Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively Demonstrated business acumen and strategic thinking
