Business Growth & Commercial Leadership : Support the growth of business units by implementing new processes and controls, challenging existing practices, and providing commercial guidance to senior stakeholders.

Management Accounting : Lead period-end tasks, ensuring accuracy of financial data, conducting variance analysis, and preparing detailed commentary. Highlight and report risks and opportunities.

Budgeting & Forecasting : Oversee the preparation of budgets and forecasts, contributing to financial models and supporting variance analysis and planning narratives.

Stakeholder Engagement : Build strong relationships with internal teams and shared services, resolving queries, and providing financial support.

Financial Reporting & Analysis : Develop insightful reporting and analysis to facilitate effective decision-making.

Year-End Activities : Contribute to year-end accounting processes, support audits, and ensure compliance with deadlines.

Business Case Support : Manage financial aspects of business cases, from initiation to post-investment review.

Risk & Opportunity Management : Collaborate with senior finance teams to assess business risks, opportunities, and sensitivities, ensuring consistency across finance functions. The Successful Applicant A successful FBP should have: Qualification ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise with all levels of the organisation. Knowledge of financial regulations and accounting standards.
