Join a leading manufacturing business in Doncaster as their next Finance Business Partner, where you'll play a crucial role in shaping the financial success of our operations and drive long-term growth.

About the Role:

As Finance Business Partner, you'll be a key member of the finance team, providing insight, analysis, and support to senior management. You'll have full ownership of the P&L, and you'll be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and helping shape the financial strategy of the business. In this dynamic, hands-on role, you'll work closely with operational teams to drive efficiencies and improve overall profitability. This role is designed with succession in mind, offering a clear and structured path to Financial Controller for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities: P&L Ownership:

Full accountability for managing and optimising the profit and loss statement, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. Budgeting & Forecasting:

Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insight to support effective financial planning and decision-making. Financial Analysis:

Deliver high-quality financial analysis to help drive business performance, with a focus on manufacturing KPIs and operational efficiency. Stakeholder Management:

Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and department heads, providing financial insight and guidance to support business goals. Strategic Projects:

Support key business initiatives and lead financial projects that enhance performance, drive growth, and add value. Management:

The role will oversee a small team. About You:

To be successful in this role, you'll need to be a qualified finance professional (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA) with a solid background in a similar role, ideally within a manufacturing environment. You'll bring experience in owning a P&L and driving the budgeting and forecasting cycle. Strong analytical skills and the ability to influence and partner with senior leaders will be critical to your success.

Requirements:

Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with relevant post-qualification experience. Proven experience in P&L management, budgeting, and forecasting. Manufacturing industry experience (essential). Strong business partnering skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and driving results. Excellent communication and influencing skills. What's in it for you?
