Funding experience is a must for this role. Responsibilities

Financial Accounting:

Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions. Financial Reporting:

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP and applicable standards. Accounts Payable and Receivable:

Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections. General Ledger Management:

Maintain the integrity of the general ledger, including reconciliations and month-end close processes. Statutory Compliance:

Ensure compliance with UK accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory reporting requirements. Audit Support:

Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and statutory filings. Financial Analysis:

Provide financial analysis and insights to support management decision-making. Process Improvement:

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting operations. Team Management:

Supervise and develop junior accounting staff. Qualifications

Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification. Knowledge of UK accounting standards and practices (additional UK qualifications like ACCA would be advantageous). 8-10 years of experience in accounting roles, with

mandatory funding experience. Experience in the retail or energy sector preferred. Familiarity with UK accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory reporting requirements. Strong technical accounting skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Team management and leadership skills. Adaptability to changing regulatory environments. Salary Package: £80,000.00 - £120,000.00 (British Pound Sterling)
