Competitive, dependent on experience I am delighted to be working with a dynamic manufacturing business in Hull who are actively looking for a qualified Finance Business Partner to join their forward-thinking team and play a key role in driving financial performance and strategic decision-making within a fast-paced environment. About the Role As a Finance Business Partner, you will report to the Financial Controller and work closely with both the finance and operational teams. You will provide crucial insights into business performance, support commercial decision-making, and ensure the effective management of financial resources. Key Responsibilities Preparing and analysing monthly management accounts with a focus on commercial insights. Collaborating with commercial and operational teams to develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans. Supporting pricing strategies through detailed costing analysis. Driving continuous improvements in financial reporting, processes, and controls. Monitoring KPIs and providing actionable recommendations to improve business performance. Assisting with strategic projects, including investment appraisals and business case development. Providing support for year-end audits and compliance reporting. About You Fully qualified or finalist level accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with relevant experience. Proven background in management accounting within a manufacturing or similar industry. Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights. Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
