About the role
You will act as a strategic advisor to various business units, providing financial insights and guidance to support decision-making and drive business performance. This role requires a deep understanding of both financial principles and business operations to effectively bridge the gap between finance and other departments.
What you'll do
Performance management
Monitor and analyse business performance, identifying trends, risks and opportunities.
Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
Conduct variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance against budget and forecasts.
Budgeting and forecasting
Support the annual budgeting process for assigned business units, ensuring realistic and achievable financial plans.
Work with business unit leaders in maintaining rolling forecasts to provide an up-to-date financial outlook.
Financial reporting and analysis
Prepare financial reports and dashboards for senior management, highlighting key insights.
Design standardised management reports, assist in streamlining processes and improve operational efficiency.
Participate in cross-functional projects and produce projects reports based on request.
Treasury Administration
Maintain cashflow forecast files and all treasury related documentation.
Produce all covenants reports to ensure full compliance.
Stakeholder Engagement
Build and maintain strong relationships with business unit leaders, acting as a trusted advisor on financial matters.
