Our Public Sector client is looking for a Finance Business Partner to join them on a Temporary Basis.
Pay Rate:
£19.39ph to £20.22ph Job Purpose: To deliver financial accounting and drive performance improvements through effective financial monitoring, advice, and support by partnering with services. Core Responsibilities: Champion excellent management of financial resources, promoting probity, efficiency, high performance, and overall value for money with service areas. Build partnerships and maintain strong relationships with team managers and their teams. Produce month-end financial monitoring and lead services in undertaking regular and timely review and challenge. Support and advise strategic and operational decision-making, driving commercial opportunities and better business performance. Undertake specific duties as part of the production of the annual statement of accounts. Undertake specific duties in a designated area of specialism on behalf of the team. Support key projects with the provision of financial advice. Minimum Requirements: AAT qualified (or equivalent) with a minimum of three years post qualification experience within a financial environment or substantial relevant demonstrable experience in finance. Excellent communication skills – written and verbal. Experience of budget preparation and monitoring. Experience/understanding of statutory accounting and reporting requirements. Experience and knowledge of accounting for Housing Revenue Accounts. A sound understanding of general accounting principles. Experience in the use of MS Excel and MS Word (or equivalent) and integrated financial systems. Hybrid working is offered, expected to attend office regularly to ensure effective communication.
