Resourcery is thrilled to support a well-established not-for-profit organisation based in Preston in their search for a Finance Business Partner. As a qualified Accountant, you will play a vital role in supporting budget holders and contributing to the production of accurate management accounts. Your ability to provide influential financial insights and relevant information will be crucial in supporting operational decision-making. Duties: - Collaborate with budget holders to understand their financial needs and provide support in financial planning and analysis. - Assist in the production of timely and accurate management accounts, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. - Utilise financial data to provide influential insights and recommendations to support operational decision-making. - Contribute to the development and monitoring of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans. - Assist in implementing financial policies and procedures to ensure effective financial management. Qualifications/Requirements: - A qualified Accountant (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) or near completion of studies. - Solid understanding of financial principles and accounting practises with a proven track record in a similar role. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. - Proficiency in Excel with the ability to manipulate large data sets. - Ability to collaborate with non-finance teams, building strong and lasting relationships. - Understanding and exposure to Capital Projects.
