Purpose of the role You will be responsible for overseeing financial management processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting, and providing strategic insights to drive decision-making. You will also work closely with various departments to monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial performance, helping to optimise resource allocation and maintain financial accountability. Your efforts will be critical in supporting the smooth operation of the organisation and contributing to its overall success. This is a hybrid role, requiring 2 days per week at our Regents Park office. Key responsibilities: Assist in building improved business performance and financial reporting tools, including business modelling and forecasting plus dashboard & KPI reporting. Preparation and delivery of monthly management accounts to all relevant budget holders. Support ZSL’s year-end and audit processes, organising back up and analysis as required. Work closely with project teams in providing analysis, insight and forecasting for ZSL’s rolling programmes. Ad hoc analysis and reporting as required. About You Qualified accountant (either ACCA, ACA or CIMA). Strong finance business partnering experience, ideally working within larger complex organisations. Excellent analytical skills and the ability to present financial information in a clear and engaging manner. Confidence in preparing and supporting an audit process, liaising with auditors and senior stakeholders as required. Ability to drive continuous improvement in business performance whilst maintaining positive relationships.
