Role: Finance Business Partner (Qualified Only)
Location: Leeds (3/week on-site); Also considering Manchester, Nottingham and Newcastle applicants
Salary: £60-70K Package - £50-57K Base + £6K Car Allowance or Car Scheme + 15% Bonus
Company Itself: One of the largest of its kind in the U.K. They are specialists in the automotive space and are the group entity for a variety of brands. There isn't much in the British Automotive space that they haven't touched! You will be working in the centralised group finance function.
Responsibilities: Partner with regional operations teams across various sites/branches (Yorkshire and the North), providing insight and understanding to ensure the group meets its financial objectives. Standardise and formalise processes as well as drive rigour across the national network. Have a desire to "get under the bonnet" and "have a view", dissect operational processes and propose KPIs to measure and drive productivity and make the right commercial decisions. Regular reporting of financial performance and KPIs and associated commentary. Ownership of budget process for the Region(s). Partner with branch managers on capital project approvals and reporting. Provide assurance to the FD that revenue & costs are appropriately recognised and leakage is minimised. Review period end close, identifying opportunities or risks that may appear.
Stakeholders: Heads of Ops, Ops Finance Director, Head of Commercial Finance as well as Operations, People Teams, Sales and Marketing personnel. Responsible for financial performance for UK in the North & Scotland.
Essential: Qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
Desirable: Previous experience working in the automotive space.
