12 months fixed term contract

. Partnering the Payroll Team and leading the management accounts process for Retail Finance, you will play an integral role in supporting store performance. You will get the opportunity to work directly with the exec and retail senior leadership team, with responsibility for one of our largest cost bases. The Purpose of the Role: Key Responsibilities: Business Partner to Retail Payroll Team: Collaborate with and challenge business to deliver against Retail Payroll budget Analyse performance producing meaningful reporting and insights Support the forecasting process Lead annual budget and long-range planning for Retail Payroll Management Accounts for UK and Ireland Branch Costs: Lead the month-end process for UK and Ireland Retail Branch Costs (Retail Payroll, Occupancy and Operating Costs), across P&L and balance sheets Ensure sufficient controls and processes are in place Develop and maintain robust and accurate actual financial information within the management accounts to support strategic decision making Lead in-depth month end reviews with Finance business partners and leadership team Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are accurate and efficient Point of contact for year end audit Line management: Day to day management of 1 direct report Ensure learning and development needs are met by setting objectives and effective coaching Location: This role is based in Nuneaton and may occasionally require travel to our London Hub or any other location of H&B. We support flexibility and productivity of our employees by hybrid working arrangements with a minimum of 2 days presence in the office. The Person: Key Requirements: CIMA / ACCA / ACA Qualified (Final Stage or QBE will be considered). Demonstrate relationship building skills, able to work cross-functionally. Ability to translate large and complex data into meaningful insight for non-finance colleagues. Experience in, and an understanding of, retail operations is a positive. Possesses a keen eye for detail and excellent organisational skills. Our Benefits
