This pivotal role will help us to improve the commercial financial budgeting and forecasting process and enable us to provide financial insight and analysis to the business to support the decision-making process and provide accurate business forecasts. This role will be focused on improving budgeting and forecasting processes ensuring variances such as volume, price, mix, inflation are understood. You will support the wider finance and accounting teams to ensure the standard requirements such as period close, SOX controls, statutory reporting and year end audit are completed, providing high quality reporting and analytics. You will be able to manage complexity, have financial acumen, supporting the business to make informed decisions and be a strong and effective team player, able to collaborate with others. What your impact will be: Ensure adherence with all compliance standards (in JW Financial Processes & Procedures, USGAAP and Local GAAP) and always operate with integrity. Support production with the commercial forecasting, variance analysis and communication of the reforecasts to relevant stakeholders. Provide insight from data analytics to support challenge on assumptions and rationale behind plans/forecasts, to ensure robust and achievable targets. Report commercial performance analysis, highlighting trends vs. plan, prior year, and forecast, with reference to future actions to be taken. Support the development and scoping of value-add management information, through tools such as PowerBI or Tableau. Translate financial and non-financial metrics into actionable plans to support key stakeholders in driving the business forward. What you'll need to succeed: Previous experience within Finance, from a Manufacturing/Production business. Qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or final stages. Advanced excel skills and initiative in building robust financial models. Experience in using One Stream / HFM and BI systems (PowerBI / Tableau) advantageous. Comfortable working with big data sets and translating results into meaningful analysis and incorporating into forecasts. Good relationship management and influencing skills. Excellent business acumen and sound financial understanding of what underpins performance along with the ability to communicate numeric and financial information to non-Finance stakeholders. Must be fluent in both written and spoken English.
