About the Job We are seeking a proactive and analytical Finance Business Partner (FP&A) to partner closely with our Technology and Product teams. This individual will play a critical role in tracking and optimising spend linked to defined business cases, monitoring project progress against financial goals, and supporting strategic financial planning. The role and your responsibilities Technology and Product Business Partnering: Act as a trusted advisor to Technology and Product leadership, providing financial insights and driving alignment with business objectives. Support the tracking and reporting of spend against business cases, identifying areas for cost optimisation and value realisation. Project Financial Tracking: Monitor project progress against financial goals, providing variance analysis and actionable insights to improve delivery outcomes. Track R&D capitalisation, ensuring alignment with story point data and maintaining accurate monthly records. Spend Optimisation: Work closely with Technology teams to manage and optimise hosting and infrastructure costs. Provide insights and recommendations for contractual and supplier optimisation to drive efficiency and reduce costs. Compliance and Access Support: Partner with Product teams to support compliance by ensuring customer platform access aligns with contracted services. Assist in reviewing and validating compliance data with the legal & compliance team to maintain adherence to contractual terms. Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate in the preparation and tracking of budgets for Technology and Product, aligning with broader company objectives. Contribute to the annual budget and quarterly forecasts, ensuring accurate and timely reporting. Headcount Planning and Optimization: Partner with HR and departmental leads to plan and optimise headcount within Technology and Product teams. Track headcount against plan, analysing financial implications and providing recommendations for resource allocation. Financial Reporting and Analysis: Ownership of division monthly financial reporting. Hold monthly meetings with the relevant managers to discuss key themes from the month and general financial performance. Ad-hoc analysis and reporting as required. Required experience Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA). Proven experience in FP&A, finance business partnering, or a similar role, preferably with exposure to Technology and Product teams. Strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting, and forecasting processes. Proficiency in financial systems and tools, such as Excel, ERP platforms, and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and present actionable insights. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively partner with cross-functional teams. Preferred Skills: Experience with R&D capitalisation and tracking. Familiarity with SaaS business models and hosting cost structures. Knowledge of compliance requirements related to platform access and contractual alignment. Proactive mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Nourish Benefits: 25 Days paid leave, Plus Public holidays.
