Background and Experience

Responsible for continuous, reliable and consistent financial support to strategic and operational decision making, as well as execution at all levels of the BU’s. Responsible for appropriately and accurately reflecting the financial impact and effect of decisions in the budget and forecasts. Operationally responsible for producing budget and forecasts in a timely, accurate and effective manner and clearly communicating these to appropriate audiences (100% timeliness and accuracy in reporting and forecasting; proactive scenario simulation in forecasting). Actively steer the BU full P&L in line with BU and Division strategies in collaboration with Commercial Directors and Sr. Controller. Job Purpose
The Business Controller UK/ROI contributes to the overall success of the organization by effectively managing all financial matters for the respective BU’s of the Europe Division. He/she acts as a financial business partner to the Commercial Directors UK and supports account managers in financial matters. Mission and Key Tasks
Actively partner with the Commercial Directors to deliver the BU and Customer Financial KPI’s (Top- and Bottom-line targets; AR targets; Forecast accuracy, etc.) Deliver excellent Financial Planning & Analysis (Reporting, Forecasting, Planning) Proactively provide financial support to strategic and operational decision making at BU/Customer level Analyze and interpret commercial, operational & financial data and translate these into timely, structured, standard and comprehensible sales, profitability and cost center reporting & analyses Control, challenge, advise and clearly communicate these analyses to the Commercial Directors Act as a catalyst and drive the sales budget, forecast and estimates Develop financial models and simulate multiple scenarios for business opportunities and special projects (e.g. for pricing, new product launches, investment projects etc.), including NPV, IRR and Pay-back calculation Develop sustained financial analysis, advise and controls to commercial activity (calculation of anticipated contract margin, scenario analysis, ad hoc reports) & other sales & marketing related projects Support business leaders during project execution with financial analysis and KPI monitoring Perform a post-investment analysis after project finalization Job Complexity and Challenges
