The primary aim of the Financial Consultant is to provide leadership for delivering financial projects for SCW and external organisations both in and outside the NHS, and take responsibility for their accurate definition, communication, resourcing, reporting and evaluation. Main duties of the job

Leadership and delivery of projects and work streams that are part of our customer's transformation programmes Provide support to other members of the Financial Consultancy Team Provision of expert advice on financial project management both within SCW and to our customer organisations Person Specification

Educated to masters level or equivalent level of experience of working at a senior level in specialist area. CCAB /CIMA Qualified with post qualification experience Knowledge & Experience

Experience of multi-agency team working and developing relationships across organisational boundaries within the public sector Management of whole systems change financial projects Knowledge of financial systems e.g. monitoring budget management, processing invoices and procurement; business planning processes Disclosure and Barring Service Check
