NXTGEN is proud to be working in exclusive partnership with a well-established business in Norfolk seeking an experienced Finance Controller to lead their finance function. This is a pivotal role within the organisation, offering the opportunity to shape financial processes, enhance profitability from external projects, and provide strategic insight. You will manage a dedicated team of four, working closely with the business owners to drive performance and growth. The business has experienced some excellent growth over the last 3 years and strives to continue this growth going into 2025. Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and lead the finance function, ensuring efficient and effective operations. Prepare, review, and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Partner with business owners and the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to provide strategic financial insight. Manage and review balance sheet reconciliations. Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Conduct financial risk analysis and forecasting to support decision-making. Deliver accurate and timely financial reports to stakeholders. Identify and implement process improvements within the FP&A function to support organisational growth.

The Ideal Candidate: You will be a fully qualified finance professional (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) with proven experience in a Finance Controller role. A background in construction, logistics, or manufacturing is highly desirable, and you will possess: Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyse and interpret complex data. Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, particularly when engaging with senior management. A flexible management style that inspires and supports team members.
