Finance Controller

The Opportunity A fantastic opportunity as Finance Controller has come up with a retail group who have a portfolio of high-profile brands across UK and Germany. This is full time office-based role based in Watford. In the role of Finance Controller, you will be responsible for the complete set of accounts for companies in UK & Germany. Manage and supervise your accounting team and be the main point of contact for auditors. Reporting into CFO, you will assist with preparation of budgets, projections and board papers. As the Finance Controller, you will get involved in variance analysis of sales, margins and operating expenses, as well as preparing monthly and quarterly royalty reports to brand owners. Your responsibilities as Finance Controller will extend to stock reports and sales ledger, supervision of credit controller and preparing monthly payroll. About You The right candidate should have at least 10 years’ experience in financial accounting, ideally with some experience at a firm of chartered accountants. You must be a fully qualified ICA, ACCA or CIMA and be highly proficient in SAGE 200, using ERP systems and be at an advanced level in Excel.
