The Role

As a controlling specialist at Daimler Buses UK Ltd (DBUK), you will provide strategic commercial business advice and a professional finance and controlling partnership service to their leadership team. You will be responsible for budgeting and planning, ensuring compliance with UK tax law, government guidelines and company processes. You will report to the head of controlling at DBUK and have responsibility for supporting the development of the controlling apprentice.

About You

Proven experience with controlling is essential.

University Degree is essential.

Accountancy or Finance Qualification preferred.

Expert knowledge in controlling, cost accounting, planning and budgeting.

Extensive knowledge in general ledger, P&L reporting and accounting principles.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Experience working in a global matrix organisation.

Commercial knowledge and business acumen.

Ability to communicate professionally with internal and external contacts.

Advanced Excel and presentation skills: PowerBI skills preferred.

On Offer

Salary in the region of £44,000 per annum (dependant upon skill-set and experience) plus a performance bonus.

A 39-hour working week. Hybrid working after completion of probation period.

33 days holiday per year including statutory holidays.
