Finance Director
Finatal is working with a PE backed technology business, seeking an experienced Finance Director to work closely with the CFO and leadership team to strengthen the company’s financial operations and ensure readiness for an exit process. Key Responsibilities Ensure the finance function operates with precision, including managing the financial close, cash management, and compliance processes. Drive readiness for due diligence and financial scrutiny, ensuring all systems, processes, and documentation are robust and accurate. Oversee the production of timely and accurate management accounts, statutory accounts, and board reporting. Manage and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering accountability and continuous improvement. Evaluate and enhance financial systems and workflows to support scalability and efficiency. Maintain strong relationships with private equity investors, delivering the operational insights they require during the exit process. Lead interactions with auditors and ensure adherence to regulatory and tax compliance standards. What We’re Looking For ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification or equivalent. Significant experience in an operational finance leadership role, ideally within a PE-backed or exit-focused business. Experience in the tech sector is an advantage. Hands-on involvement in preparing a business for sale, including financial due diligence and process optimisation. Strong grounding in financial controls, reporting, and systems. Proficiency with relevant ERP and reporting tools is essential. Proven ability to manage and develop teams, driving accountability and excellence.
