Develop and implement financial strategies to enhance operational performance
Manage the preparation of financial statements and ensure accuracy in reporting
Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, helping drive their personal development
Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards
Collaborate with other departments to align financial goals with operational objectives
Monitor and evaluate the company's financial performance, providing detailed reports to stakeholders and the board
Assist the business with procuring improved services and improving operational costs
Understand commercial contracts and maximize opportunities
Produce monthly management accounts and present to the board
What you'll need to succeed Proven experience in senior financial leadership roles, preferably as a Financial Director. Strong understanding of cost control principles and accounts payable processes. Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex information clearly. Proficient in financial software and tools. A degree in finance, accounting or a related field; professional certificate e.g. ACCA, CIMA.
