Temporary Contract 3-6 months, Full-Time Housing Association - Property Development Job Duties:

Oversee all financial operations and direct corporate financial planning Develop financial strategies, plans, and policies to drive business growth Prepare financial forecasts, budgets, and financial reports for senior management Manage financial risk, cash flow, and financial compliance Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial goals are met Oversee financial modelling to appraise the capital and revenue aspects of all new opportunities and joint ventures to guide investment decisions and ensure these meet agreed KPIs and contribute to the long term viability of the business Ensure Developments meet all of its financial risk, regulatory and statutory requirements in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring that anomalies and queries are dealt with swiftly. Prepare and present to quarterly Development Committee (sub-Committee of Main Board) papers to update and reflect the ongoing Developments performance Strategic planning support for the Developments SLT resulting in robust commercial decisions Required Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Finance Director Have managed large teams of up to 20 employees Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations Excellent leadership and decision-making skills Ability to strategize and solve complex problems Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities Knowledge and Skills:

Ability to analyse financial data and prepare financial reports Strong understanding of financial statements and cash flow management Experience in financial forecasting and budgeting Prior experience of JV arrangements, a leveraged balance sheet and senior banking facilities and covenants Experience in the appraisal of large scale, complex mixed use Development projects Experience in Capital/Revenue Accounting, commercial evaluation, financial control and Treasury Preferred Qualifications:

Professional certification such as ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent Experience of the commercial property development sector or housing association development arm Working Conditions:

This role requires working in a hybrid environment, collaborating with various departments, and occasional travel may be necessary.
