We partnered with a leading property management company looking for a Finance Director. In their portfolio, they have multi-billions of AUM across the UK and overseas.

This is an exciting role with a wide scope, including simple but high-volume transactional deliverables as well as managing the General Ledger, the financial accounts, and the production of the monthly management accounts, along with managing the team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage the general ledger and banking operations
2. Prepare accurate financial statements and oversee audit procedures
3. Ensure compliance with VAT and tax regulations, along with external reporting requirements
4. Handle month-end account closures and overhead expense allocations
5. Implement financial control processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives
6. Conduct internal finance audits and assist with financial planning and analysis
7. Develop cash flow forecasts and manage cash effectively
8. Administer bonus and profit share distributions, and prepare annual budgets
9. Forecast profit and loss and balance sheet projections, including scenario analysis
10. Lead accounts management, banking, cash management, and payment processing
11. Assist with the year-end charity audit
12. Manage accounts receivable including invoice generation and cash allocation for received payments
13. Oversee accounts payable, ensuring timely payments of invoices and expenses, and conducting credit card reconciliations
14. Overview group payroll

Key Requirements:

1. Accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
2. Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, including UK GAAP & IFRS
3. Experienced in preparing statutory and management accounts as well as P&L, cashflow and balance sheet, audit processes, tax regulations, including VAT, and service charges
4. Experience in managing a team
5. Advanced proficiency in Excel
6. Proficient in finance systems
