The Role Drive the financial strategy to support business growth and operational efficiency, ensuring alignment with the company's long-term goals. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, ensuring accurate and insightful reporting to senior leadership and stakeholders. Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Ensure robust internal controls and compliance with financial regulations, safeguarding the integrity of the organisation's financial operations. Provide strategic recommendations to the board and senior leadership team, offering commercial insights to drive profitability and manage risks. Collaborate with other departments to implement financial systems and processes that enhance efficiency and support decision-making. The Person Requirements as a Finance Director: Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with extensive experience in financial leadership roles. Proven ability to manage complex financial operations within a manufacturing or similar industry. Strong analytical and commercial acumen with the ability to influence at all levels. Exceptional leadership skills, with experience in building and managing high-performing teams. Advanced knowledge of financial systems and proficiency in developing and implementing new processes. A proactive, solution-focused mindset with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. The Package A competitive salary circa £120,000, negotiable for the right candidate.
