Finance Director

Finance Director - £80,000 to £100,000 per year - Romsey, Hampshire - Office based FryerMiles are delighted to be working exclusively with a global luxury brand on the recruitment of a Finance Director to join their team based in the UK head office in Romsey, Hampshire. The Finance Director will be a strong qualified technical accountant with exceptional financial acumen. The successful candidate will drive financial strategy, compliance, and oversee the company's financial operations, while occasionally being able and willing to travel globally to major sporting events with clients. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: Oversee all financial accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to UK GAAP and IFRS standards. Preparation of consolidated financial statements, statutory accounts, and audit processes. Manage the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports, ensuring timely and accurate delivery. Oversee tax compliance, including VAT, corporate tax, and international tax. Partner with the CEO and SLT to develop and implement long-term financial strategies. Evaluate and support investment decisions, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Occasionally travel to major sporting events worldwide to represent the company and support high-profile client relationships. Qualifications required: ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified. 3-5 years post-qualified experience. Proven experience in technical accounting and financial leadership roles within an SME environment. Manufacturing or luxury goods experience would be advantageous but not required. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious qualified accountant to join a rapidly growing and exciting SME.
