This key role will be responsible for driving financial growth while ensuring alignment with the company's operational and strategic goals. The ideal candidate will have experience in acquisitions both domestically and internationally and in implementing financial plans and controls that promote sustainable growth. This is an exciting opportunity to be an integral part of the senior leadership team, shaping the direction and culture of the company.

What will you be doing?

Contributing to the development of the company's sales strategy. Designing and implementing financial strategies aligned with business goals. Leading corporate finance activities such as cash flow management, acquisitions, and financial planning. Providing strategic financial insights to support senior leadership decision-making. Managing financial risks and ensuring compliance with governance standards, including for international expansion. Overseeing the preparation of key financial reports and managing forecasting processes. Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to drive financial performance. Mentoring and leading the finance team to build a high-performance culture. Identifying opportunities for operational efficiency and process improvements.

What skills are we looking for?

A track record of financial leadership holding a number 1 or board level position previously. Proven experience in managing financial operations with a solid understanding of global markets and financial reporting. Previous experience working in distribution, import, export or manufacturing is desirable. Experience leading organisations through mergers and acquisitions. A strategic approach to financial and operational planning. Experience mentoring and leading a finance team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Knowledge of international tax laws and regulatory frameworks is ideal but not essential.

What's on offer?

Competitive base salary between £100,000 and £130,000 (DOE). Annual bonus scheme. Share options available following successful PE funding. Annual leave purchase scheme.
