Finance ERP Expert

with experience helping CFOs and senior Finance leaders assess, migrate, consolidate and implement cloud ERP software solutions in Finance. The successful candidate will possess both subject matter expertise and a passion across the strategy, deployment and post go-live phases of ERP transformation in finance. About this role Analysts create must-have insights for our clients through published research and client interaction. You will meet with clients every day: in a videoconference or from the stage at a Gartner event. In every client interaction, and every insight you produce, you will help clients solve difficult puzzles that lead to better performance. What you’ll do Create actionable and insightful research to support CFOs and finance leaders navigating their cloud ERP transformation journey in finance. Deliver high quality actionable advice to CFOs and finance leaders through face-to-face and video-based presentations and discussions in both one-on-one and group settings. Stay ahead of the curve by understanding the latest trends, innovations and vendor capabilities in the finance and accounting ERP software market. What you’ll need 10+ years of experience working in finance roles designing and delivering Finance ERP transformation projects. Demonstrated experience with cloud ERP business case building, vendor evaluation and selection, program governance, implementation, go-live readiness and post go-live management. Passion for modernizing finance and accounting functions through ERP transformation projects. Strong business acumen. Bachelor's or equivalent experience, Master's degree preferred. Ability to conduct occasional travel, regionally and globally. Who you are To thrive in this role, it helps if you are obsessed with your topic! Gartner analysts are correctly viewed as THE experts. Excellent collaborator with the ability to quickly build rapport and gain client trust. Confident presenter with a high level of executive presence (prior experience with speaking engagements is a plus). Analytical thinker with the ability to process information quickly and make actionable recommendations. Willing to challenge conventional norms and views.
