£31,067 - £34,314 per year. Permanent and Full time. The Additional Learning Needs and Inclusion team is looking to appoint a dedicated professional to support with all aspects of finance, budgets, procurement and data monitoring within the team.
An exciting opportunity for a committed professional with knowledge and experience of finance, budgeting, procurement and data monitoring to join the Additional Learning Needs and Inclusion team. This is a key role within the education department, with responsibilities including:
Budget setting
Closing of accounts
Employee budgets
Budget monitoring
Grant management
Invoice processing
Purchasing of goods and services
The ALNIT is a very busy team, and the successful candidate will be expected to work to tight deadlines. It is expected that the successful candidate will use their own initiative and manage their workload accordingly. Although the post is predominantly stand-alone, it is part of a wider team of professionals including ALN caseworkers and designated co-ordinators, educational psychologists, and specialist teachers.
Applicants will have worked within a public sector finance environment and have a comprehensive understanding of budgets and finance and will have an analytical and solution-focused approach.
