About the role We are seeking a Junior Finance Analyst to join our team in the London office, reporting directly to the Finance Manager. This full-time position is set to begin in March/April 2025. In this role, you will be integral to our financial planning and analysis efforts. Your responsibilities will include preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial reports, and providing critical insights that inform our strategic decisions. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of business financial activities and the ability to derive insights that support and influence business decisions. This position is perfect for someone eager to work in a dynamic environment, gain exposure to various topics, and thrive in a small team setting. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with the Finance Manager to produce monthly management accounts, ensuring timely and accurate reporting. Assist in preparing and managing budgets and forecasts. Develop and improve financial models to provide insights on performance and profitability. Work with Local and Global teams to support decision-making and strategic resource planning. Perform ad-hoc financial analyses to support various business projects and initiatives. About you Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree in management, finance, accounting, or relevant experience. Experience: 1-2 years in a similar role. Proficiency in MS Office Suite, with mandatory experience in Excel and the ability to analyse and interpret financial data. Hybrid working, must be able to come into the office a minimum of 2 days a week. Preferred Qualifications & Experience (you don’t need to be able to tick them all!) French speaking (beneficial but not mandatory). Knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures. Experience with Dynamics and willingness to learn new technologies like PowerBI. Soft Skills: Collaborative and excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Creative and critical thinking to improve financial processes. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment. Passion for learning and personal growth.
