We are working with a business in the Long Eaton area that is looking for a Finance professional to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.
The business seeks an ambitious candidate who can support this growing business to achieve the next level.
This role is fully office-based - please only apply if you are happy to be in the office Monday - Friday.
The role:
Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports. Support the month-end and year-end closing processes. Review financial transactions and ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting principles. Help manage and reconcile company accounts, including bank and balance sheet reconciliations. Assist with forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning activities. Provide financial analysis to support business decision-making. Support the transition from QuickBooks to SAGE, ensuring a smooth migration process. Help to maintain financial controls and improve operational efficiencies. Work closely with other departments to provide financial insights and drive business performance. Requirements:
Part-qualified in ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent with a strong desire to complete studies. Previous experience in finance or accounting. Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software (knowledge of SAGE is a plus). Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally. A proactive and flexible approach to problem-solving. What is on offer?
