Finance Manager Are you an experienced Management Accountant looking for a new challenge in a dynamic and growing company? Join a forward-thinking business in Tadworth, Surrey, and be part of an exciting transformation as they transition from SAGE to SAP. This is a great opportunity to make an impact, drive financial performance, and further develop your skills in a collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities: Lead the accurate and timely preparation of monthly financial reports, including BS reconciliation, P&L, variance analysis, and margin analysis. Oversee month-end journals (accruals, prepayments, etc.) and ensure the smooth preparation of monthly revenue recognition and adjustments to accrued/deferred income. Conduct in-depth variance analysis, comparing results against budget, forecast, and prior year. Manage nominal postings, control account reconciliations, and maintain control of bank accounts and their reconciliation. Take a hands-on approach in overseeing credit control activities and assist with cost management, including forecasting and budget preparation. Provide valuable ad hoc revenue, expenditure, and R&D expenditure analysis. Play a key role in supporting the implementation of a new ERP platform, ensuring smooth changes to processes, systems, and procedures. Ideal Candidate: SAGE Experience:
Familiarity with Sage 200 is a must, and experience with SAP is a big plus. Finance Qualifications:
Part-qualified (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) or equivalent, working towards a full qualification. Financial Acumen:
Strong experience in producing financial accounts within tight deadlines, including exposure to P&L, stock management, and month-end reporting. Multinational Exposure:
Experience with handling multiple currencies in reporting is an advantage. Team Leadership:
Ability to manage and support the development of junior finance team members.
