Management Accounting Manager

to join our team on a

12 month Fixed Term Contract . This is a full-time position based within our finance department in Derby.

Your day-to-day...

As a

Management Accounting Manager , you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the delivery and reporting strategy of the record-to-report function. You will manage the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and ensuring the timely and accurate preparation of financial reports. Your role will involve developing and implementing internal controls, preparing financial statements, and mentoring the management accounting team.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include: Overseeing day-to-day financial operations, management accounts production, and general ledger management. Developing and maintaining accounting controls to ensure financial accuracy and security. Preparing and analysing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Supervising, training, and mentoring the management accounting team. Communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Optimising financial reporting processes through the finance system and BI team. Qualifications, Experience & Training...

Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA). 8+ years of experience in accountancy, financial reporting, and managing multiple entities. Strong technical knowledge and the ability to analyse financial performance. Knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure. Experience with change management and reporting within the healthcare industry is desirable. Rewards & Benefits...
