The Financial Director is practice trained and this post could offer an ideal career move from practice into industry. The business has a number of subsidiary companies and the role will include preparing management accounts and year end accounts for these businesses, making the role an ideal transition from a general accountancy practice role.
Duties include:
Oversee the team's production of all company accounts and meeting reporting deadlines. Support the team in finalising year end accounts and tax computations. Support the Finance Director in liaising with external 3rd party advisers. Suggest and implement updates and improvements for accounting systems and processes. Work with the Finance Director to develop budgets and financial plans for the company based on research and trends. Support on due diligence for new prospect business ventures.
