Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Manager to oversee daily financial operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong organisational and analytical skills, ensuring the delivery of high-quality financial oversight and insights. Key Responsibilities: Managing the day-to-day activities of the Finance Team Embed efficient processes and procedures ensuring a high level of accuracy which will meet future business needs Complete monthly processing in line with the agreed timetable to enable timely and accurate management reporting Manage the year-end external audit including supplying information requested and co-ordinating responses to any queries from the auditors. Management of all bank accounts including maintaining and updating mandates and on-line access. Ensuring that authorisation of all bank payments is in accordance with delegated authorities and mandates. Cash flow monitoring and forecasting Ensure all statutory accounting and tax records are completed. Assist with development and review of financial policies Provide financial training for other Departments as required. Undertake training as appropriate to the role and appropriate CPD Undertake any other appropriate duties as determined by the Executive Qualifications/Skills/Experience: Qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) Accountant or qualified by experience (Essential) A minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a finance department (Essential) Excellent IT skills with the ability to navigate and use MS Excel, e.g. V lookups & pivot tables (Essential) A good working knowledge of Finance systems including sage 50 (Desirable) System implementation experience (Desirable) A good understanding of financial controls (Essential) Strong attention to detail (Essential) Experience of working in a regulated or not for profit organisation (Desirable) Experience of managing a small team (Essential) Interview Process: The deadline for all applications is
