An opportunity to be a Finance Manager for a service business based in Sutton Coldfield. It's a fast-growing company, going from £6m to £15m turnover in a few short years. Main Duties:
As a Finance Manager, your main duties include: Attending and presenting the monthly business reviews on their financial performance Preparing financial statements for internal and external use Preparing the monthly management accounts, including prepayments, monthly journals, fixed assets Reporting performance against budget as part of management accounts and explanation of variance Monitoring and forecasting of cashflow Developing and managing financial systems and policies Recommending methods and strategies for cutting cost and margin improvement Other ad hoc duties as required Location / Office / Culture
The role is based in Minworth near Sutton Coldfield. The business has a real family feel and is going from strength to strength with some blue chip clients. What We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will have: An ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification (QBE will be considered) At least five years' experience in finance At least two years' experience in a management or leadership role Excellent analytical and numerical ability An ability to adapt to challenges associated with business growth Strong knowledge of spreadsheet and accounts software Why Join the Business
