Reporting directly to the CEO, you will hold responsibility for and undertake the effective oversight of the finances of Christian Residential Network (CRNet) and its trading arm, Christian Supply Chain Buying Group UK Limited (CSCBG). As Finance Manager, you will provide management and control of the Charity and company finances, working with the CEO and Supply Chain Manager to ensure smooth operational finances. As a steward of the Lord’s finances, you will hold firmly to our Christian ethos, vision and values, as well as being in agreement with our statement of faith. Given this, there is an Occupational Requirement that this post is held by a Christian (Equality Act 2010). This is a fantastic opportunity to be a part of a great team serving and supporting others in their ministry. Qualifications / Requirements

We are looking for a well-qualified and experienced individual to take the lead and hold responsibility for the Charity’s finances. Essential (E) & Desirable (D) skills: Educated to degree level or equivalent (D) Professional accounting qualification or part-qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent e.g. AAT qualified (E) Experienced finance professional with demonstrable and relevant experience (E) High attention to detail and the ability to double check work against a variety of data sources (E) Ability to prioritise workload and work to tight deadlines (E) Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (E) Previous experience of VAT, Gift-Aid and cashflows (E) Strong IT skills, including MS Office and highly competent in Excel (E) Previous knowledge of QuickBooks (D) or other accounting systems (E) Experience of working in a not-for-profit environment (D) High level of integrity (E) Able to work flexibly and using initiative (E) Please apply as soon as possible as applications will be reviewed upon submission.
