My client is seeking a Finance Manager to lead a small finance team within a prestigious local organisation.

You will be responsible for overseeing the team and driving the management accounting function, as well as delivering accurate and timely financial reporting. This is a key leadership role that requires a strong background in finance, exceptional analytical skills and the ability to effectively communicate financial information to both finance and non-finance professionals.

Responsibilities:

Lead on the management accounting requirement, ensuring accurate and timely financial information Refine financial policies, procedures and controls to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and best practices Prepare and present a range of financial reporting, budgets and forecasts to senior management Manage the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to establish financial targets and monitor performance against them Ensure statutory accounting compliance, liaising with external auditors and external bodies as required Oversee the work of the team, ensuring the transactional accounting requirements are maintained

ACCA/ ACA/ CIMA qualified candidates are sought, with proven experience in a similar role, with a sound understanding of management accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting standards. You will have the ability to work collaboratively and build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels, unravelling the complexities of finance for non-finance staff.
