Job Description
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Management of the UK finance team
Preparation of the month end reporting pack and review with Group FC
Act as business partner to the UK department heads
Manage the credit control and cash management processes
Complete annual budgets and rolling forecasts for P&L and Cashflow
Ensure accurate and timely posting of financial journals
Update the course price calculator and VAT rates and prepare costings for potential future contracts
Prepare and submit UK VAT return
Maintain the deferred cash reconciliation
Own the UK balance sheet and prepare a monthly reconciliation pack
Work with HR and the external payroll company to ensure timely and accurate payroll
Liaise with the US Financial Controller on inter-company transactions
Prepare monthly operational data to support the CFO pack
Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and government agencies
Qualifications
Fully or Part Qualified Accountant, QBE will also be considered
Previous experience in a busy finance team
Resilience in the face of tight deadlines and evolving business priorities
Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Excel and a knowledge of accounting packages
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience of team management would be advantageous
Effective communication skills
Positive and professional attitude
Well organised and analytical
Ability to multi-task and handle multiple priorities
Highly motivated and interested in being part of a small and talented team
Additional Information
Salary £45,000-£50,000 per annum.
Full Time, 40 hours - Monday-Friday.
This position is based at Gloucestershire Airport.
