The Finance Manager for Children's Social Care will focus on supporting placements, fostering, asylum teams, and associated transformation and capital projects. In this role, you will manage a team of Group Accountants, providing vital financial insights to ensure the effective delivery of children's social care services. Key Responsibilities: Oversee financial management and budgeting for placements, fostering, asylum teams, and related projects. Provide financial analysis and reporting on the financial implications of new initiatives in children's social care. Collaborate with senior stakeholders to advise on challenging financial matters related to social care services. Support the preparation of annual financial statements and work with the Business Partner to assist in Executive Meetings and committee responsibilities. Ideal Candidate: CCAB (or equivalent) qualified accountant. Extensive experience in analysing, interpreting, and presenting financial data, particularly in the context of social care or public sector services. Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing teams and improving financial practices within children's services.
