Finance Manager, Christian Charity, London, c£45,000 DOE (negotiable) Wonderful opportunity exists at this London based Christian charity for a Practicing Evangelical Christian with a mature faith to join their Finance team as their new Finance Manager. A fully qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA or ACA Accountant) with relevant post qualification experience, you will be reporting to the Director of Finance and the successful candidate will help to provide an effective and proactive operational Finance service and contribute to the delivery of strategic objectives and take ownership of a variety of ad-hoc projects. Responsibilities include: Management of financial processes to support the charity in its work Preparation of statutory accounts & management of Audit requirements Financial planning, monitoring and reporting at a departmental level The analysis of developing responses to variances from the Annual Financial Plan (AFP). Financial management and governance to comply with statutory and external requirements and regulations. Placing all necessary insurances in conjunction with the charity’s brokers Leadership for a small team of finance professionals and administrative staff In addition you have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a strong Christian Faith as it is an Occupational Requirement under the Equality Act 2010 that the post holder will be a practicing evangelical Christian.
