Central London We are seeking an experienced
Finance Manager
to lead the day-to-day operations of a finance department for a dynamic organisation. This role offers the opportunity to oversee financial management, ensure compliance with VAT legislation, and contribute to system optimisation while mentoring a small finance team. Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership:
Line manage the Finance Officer, Assistant, and Apprentice. Transaction Management:
Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded, reconciled, and reported. Compliance:
Manage VAT recording and quarterly returns in accordance with charity legislation. System Administration:
Maintain and optimise Oracle NetSuite, including user roles and system improvements. Month-End Duties:
Balance sheet reconciliations and project journals. Audit Support:
Prepare documentation for annual audits and liaise with external auditors. Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities for enhanced efficiency and system functionality. Training:
Provide support and training for finance team members and NetSuite users. Person Specification: Essential Skills & Experience: Fully qualified in ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent experience in a similar role. Proficiency in Oracle NetSuite and advanced Excel skills, including formulas (e.g., VLOOKUP). Strong leadership, time management, and organisational skills. Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Desirable Experience: At least 3 years in a similar financial role, preferably in the charity sector. Why Join?
