Michael Page are partnering with a well-regarded Asset Manager to assist them in hiring a Finance Manager for their Central London based team.
Job Description
Key responsibilities of this Finance Manager role in the Financial Services sector in London:
Group reporting: You will assist with the reporting to investors and the corporate group as well as with the preparation of management board reports, including business plans.
Accounting: Jointly with our Finance Director you will review monthly and annual financial statements with great accuracy - in compliance with UK accounting standards (FRS and IFRS) - and assist with annual and half-year forecasts.
Tax: Together with our Finance Director you are the contact person for regular audits and are responsible for the quarterly VAT and annual corporation tax returns.
Liquidity management: You support and prepare cash flow forecasts, monitor project budgets, inform investment and development teams about target and actual figures and calculate monthly calls for funds and distributions.
As an all-rounder in finance, accounting, controlling and taxes, you will jointly with our Finance Director work with accountants and treasurers across disciplines and countries.
The Successful Applicant
The Ideal candidate for this Finance Manager role in the Financial Services sector in London:
ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent
2+ years post qualified experience, outside of practice
Experience in the real estate industry preferred
Experience in balance sheet accounting, group accounting, controlling
Proficient in the preparation of reports, forecasts and financial analyses.
