Finance Manager

to work with a leading brand in the UK based in Colchester. This role involves leading the finance function, supporting the managing director, overseeing budgeting & forecasts, providing analysis to senior stakeholders, and taking responsibility for process improvements. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to truly advance their career. Paying up to £60,000, with 25 days holiday, home-based work with 1 day a week in the London office, company pension, and many more benefits! Role and Responsibilities

Preparation of monthly management accounts in line with FRS 102 accounting standards, including the maintenance of supporting schedules (fixed asset register, accrued income, accruals, etc.) Development of a comprehensive financial pack for the board Maintenance of forecasting models, including cash flow forecasting Oversight of day-to-day bookkeeping, using Xero software (experienced Bookkeeper will continue part-time) Management of contract database – application of key terms to client and supplier billing Management of the monthly payroll process, with the support of external professionals Completion of the statutory accounts year-end process, including schedule completion and accounts review, with the support of external professionals Credit management, including managing and promptly resolving queries Taxation compliance including annual Corporation tax and quarterly VAT returns Candidate Requirements

ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified Excellent personal organizational skills and attention to detail Comfortable working remotely and, where required, traveling to offices in varying locations (minimum requirement to work in London office location 1 day per week) Keen to get involved in all aspects of the business If you’re ready to take the next step in your career and make a lasting impact within a fantastic business, then apply now!
