Finance Manager

Fantastic opportunity for an experienced finance manager to join this thriving events agency in a pivotal role! The company This lovely boutique events agency really punch above their weight and have a strong and loyal client base for whom they deliver conferences, incentives, meetings & events across the UK and internationally! Due to ongoing success and growth of the business we are now supporting with the hire of a Finance Manager to support the MD. The role The Finance Manager will support the Managing Director in running all aspects of the company finances. You will be responsible for preparation of company accounts including quarterly returns, working with the accountancy firm. This role will also be responsible for sales & purchase ledger; VAT returns, bank reconciliation as well as preparing payroll. You will raise sales invoices and PO, lead the credit control and deal with any finance enquiries as they come in. About you We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager (part qualified, fully qualified or qualified by experience will be considered) who is able to lead the daily finance running of a business and work closely with the Director whilst leading a small team/assistant. Extensive use of Xero accountancy software is an absolute MUST HAVE and candidates will not be considered without this. This is a busy and fast-paced role where you will need to act with a high level of discretion and be able to communicate well at all levels and be client-facing.
