The main purpose of the role is to maintain and improve financial controls, produce monthly management accounts, and support with financial planning and budgeting.
Duties:
Management of the finance team and resolve any queries Produce the monthly management accounts and associated reports Actively contribute to the production of budgets and forecasts Oversee the correct preparation and submission of VAT returns in accordance with HMRC requirements Support stakeholders at varied levels regarding financial matters to ensure budgets and forecasts remain robust and assist in preparation of timely financial reports Supporting and implementing robust processes in finance operations, with a continuous improvement led culture
Skills and Experience:
Experience is key / qualifications desirable (CIMA, ACA, or ACCA) Experience of financial and management reporting and budgeting Experience of managing a team Strong IT skills, including MS Office products, and in particular Excel Excellent communication skills Ability to prioritise work Personable, supportive, and able to motivate a team
Benefits:
Salary range £45,000 - £50,000 depending on experience and qualifications Flexible working 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays Pension
