Metabolics Limited
15 hours/week, permanent position
£45,000-£55,000 dependent on experience, per annum pro-rata, based on a 40 hour standard week.
Metabolics Limited is a manufacturer of some of the UK’s highest quality food supplements. We have a small, friendly team based just outside Devizes. We also own the brands Nutristrength and Motion Nutrition.
We are seeking to appoint an experienced Finance Manager to fill a vacancy which has arisen due to retirement.
As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of financial administration for three companies, with the assistance of one part-time accounts assistant.
Reporting to the owner and Managing Director of these companies, you will be his right-hand person who can be trusted with all aspects of day-to-day financial responsibilities and the accountability of the company’s operations.
The role is a part-time flexible role. You can be flexible around when you schedule your hours, but you will need to coordinate a proportion of your time to coincide with your assistant who works on a Monday and Wednesday. The number of hours worked per week can, however, be flexed within a month, providing that you manage your work well. The role would be ideal for someone wishing to work around school hours or just wishing for a fulfilling, part-time role.
Required Skills & Experience:
ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified with significant post-qualification experience.
Ability to adapt to different accounting software – we operate KHAOS which is our ERM system and also use Xero.

Understanding of business beyond the financials, able to interpret financial information and communicate this effectively to senior management.
Ability to communicate complicated financial information in a clear, concise, and easily understood manner.
Commercial acumen and desire to understand business objectives.
Time management and multi-tasking skills are top considerations.
